Lately my toddler is constantly correcting me about my phone usage: “put it in your pocket, daddy!”. It’s really cute and also quite eye opening.
At her young age she can already tell that if I’m looking at my phone I’m not paying attention to her. Every time it happens I feel like a bad parent.
Just a few days ago I had dinner with a friend that reminded me a very important fact: tomorrow is not guaranteed.
If tomorrow is not guaranteed, and today is already here, do I want to spend it staring at the phone, or spending time with my family?
The right answer is obvious.
